It’s nice to know when retailers share your values and welcome your furry family members. These local petfriendly businesses not only welcome you and your pets but also offer products just for them. Supporting local businesses who support your values and offer unique products is always a win-win.

Landella Beads & Gifts

Whether you’re looking for a unique gift for a friend or a new piece of jewelry for yourself, Landella Beads & Gifts factory store—created by the founders of Spexton Jewelry—
offers an endless array of beads created entirely on-site at its 15th Street location.
Landella is the world’s first and only powder coated bead collection, and the factory store offers guests a view directly into its powder coating studio, allowing visitors to see each bead come to life with vibrant colors.
As a pet-friendly business, pets are welcome in the store and can even wear the accessories says Nathan McPherson, founder of Landella. “The bracelets we manufacture make great chokers for your furry friends. We’re located just down the street from the 15th Street Veterinary Group, so stop by and treat yourself to some matching accessories for you and your pet!
“Our bracelets feature an ingenious, freakishly-strong magnetic clasp that can be custom-fitted for you and your pet. Safe, strong and easy to take on and off, yet nearly impossible to lose, we offer our clasps and beads in endless colors and shapes.”
McPherson says customers may even be lucky enough to stop by while Landella’s four-legged employee is on duty. “Bruno, our resident shop manager, is a 14-year-old American Longhair who might make an appearance and allow you to admire his lion cut, provided by Feline Specialties of Tulsa. Unless you’re a dog, in which case he will want nothing to do with you.” ■

Garden Deva Sculpture Company

Stop in at Garden Deva Sculpture Company on any given day, and you will likely see a team member’s dog. “We get to love on them all day in the office! Those are great days!” says Kendyl Ashlee Overton
of Garden Deva. “An animal’s presence brings so much joy and positive energy, something we always welcome here in the gallery!”
Why are animals important to Garden Deva? “We share this earth with them. They are just as integral (if not more so) than anyone or anything else in the world,” says Overton. “Animals are beautiful and intelligent and deserve our utmost respect. They are our friends and companions who love us selflessly!”
Garden Deva, located in the heart of the Pearl District near downtown Tulsa, is an art studio and metal fabrication shop, specializing in creating custom metal sculptures for homes, gardens, businesses and nonprofits.
“I am one of the newer team members at Garden Deva,” says Overton, “but in the time I’ve been here, I have gotten to see and hear some of the most beautiful stories and memories about our guests’ pets—some of which have actually drawn slight tears from my eyes…at work! We have and produce so many pieces to honor pets, living and in memoriam. Whether it be adding a beloved pet’s name to a piece we already have here in the gallery, or designing a replica piece of someone’s dog, cat or alpaca (which we actually did; it was so sweet), we love being a part of honoring your best furry friend and family member!” ■
