LYNN LANE BOARDING KENNELS, offering boarding, grooming and daycare, has been serving the Tulsa area for 36 years. In that time, owners Tracy and Jose Godinez have earned longstanding, loyal clients who have become more like family than customers.
Lola, a miniature Dachshund, is one of those satisfied, furry family members.
“Lola loves to go to Lynn Lane!” says her mom Cindi Newman. “We call it ‘going to the hotel.’ We say, ‘Are you ready to go to the hotel?’ And she runs to the garage door to wait on us to bring her carrier in, then she jumps into her carrier with tail wagging and thumping. Tracy, Nathan (Jewell) and the rest of the staff at Lynn Lane say she is the friendliest, loveliest Dachshund they’ve ever seen. When she comes home, she is exhausted but always still her happy self, and she always has the cutest bandana that they put on her after her bath.”
Tracy started Lynn Lane Boarding Kennels because she loves people, the animals and small business. She says clients just like Lola can expect that same “A++++ TLC” and attention to detail in every visit.
Lola has been visiting Lynn Lane for 10 years, and the aforementioned TLC and attention to detail from the entire staff is what keeps Lola and her mom returning.
“The love that Tracy, Nathan and, really, each and every staff member has for all of the pets, and the care they give them, is amazing,” Newman says. “I never worry for a minute when Lola is there. I know without a doubt that she is in the most loving, capable hands that I could ask for.

“I know Lola is being loved on, talked to, played with, cared for, etc. And when I pick her up, I can tell she has been well taken care of and that she had a fun time at the ‘hotel.’ They always give me a report and are always pleasant, very easy to work with. The whole staff makes me feel that not only is Lola special to them, but I am, too!”
Cocoa, a Beagle, and Boss, a black Lab/Pit Bull mix, are also loyal members of the Lynn Lane family. Their dad Jamie Marchesano has been bringing his pets to Lynn Lane for nearly 20 years. He found Lynn Lane through the family’s veterinarian, who highly recommended the business.
Marchesano says not only do Cocoa and Boss feel obviously comfortable there, but the pair even knows their cage and kennel. “They know Nathan, and Nathan knows them,” he adds. “Tracy always gives me an update, if there are eating issues, anything I need to know … she keeps me abreast.”
Tracy says running Lynn Lane is the perfect job. She, along with her staff, would love to help you with your boarding, grooming and daycare needs. For more satisfied reviews, visit them on Facebook. ■
